LEGO® Mounting Parts

Depending on the series or collection you are framing, you will need a number of specific LEGO® parts that will be used to mount each Minifigure to the back panel. Refer to the Parts Required section of each LEGO® Minifigure Background post for a list of the parts you will need to mount your Minifigures.

The colour of the brick parts you use is completely up to your personal style and preference, and helps to make your framed collection unique to you! You may wish to match the brick colour with the frames, which is what I chose to do – making mine white, or alternatively you might wish to match the brick colours with the backgrounds. You might even want to go all multi-coloured!

Whatever your colour choice, you can buy all the required parts from a community-based “brick” marketplace, such as BrickLink or BrickOwl.

Following is a list of common individual parts used to mount my Minifigure collections, and links to where you can buy them.
