This article provides full instructions on how to display your LEGO® Minifigure Collection using the IKEA® RIBBA 23×23cm (9×9″) Frame.
I certainly wasn’t the first to come up with the idea of using the IKEA® RIBBA 23×23cm for displaying LEGO® Minifigures. However, when I decided to frame my collection using this method I was unable to find a good clear guide on what parts were needed, where to find them, and how to assemble everything. All I could find was the type of frame to use, several fan made backgrounds to suit, and to supa glue inverted slope bricks on as mounting stands.
After months of research and even creating my own LEGO® Minifigure Backgrounds, I have documented a process for assembling IKEA® RIBBA frames as LEGO® Minifigure display cases. This guide covers everything from buying the frame, which additional LEGO® mounting parts you need and where to buy them, how to print the backgrounds, right through to a step-by-step on building and fitting your Minifigures into the finished frames.
